Our Heritage
Polar Founder

Established back in 1926, our very first outlet was located on 51 High Street was well-loved for our signature Curry Puffs as well as a selection of ice-cream and chilled refreshments.


Polar Café was the go-to place for politicians, lawyers and businessmen due to its strategic location near the trading harbour. Amongst these prolific consumers, Lim Bo Seng, one of Singapore’s prominent businessman, would often patronize the Polar Café back in the days.


Having witnessed and endured the difficult period of World War II together with Singapore, we have progressed in tandem with the country. In December 1986, we opened our 2nd outlet and subsequently expanded rapidly into every heartland and soon became a staple to many.


With over 100 varieties of pastries, cakes and other confectioneries, we take pride in selecting the finest ingredients to produce handmade quality pastries that are baked fresh daily.
